Tobee's Honey and RES.

Toby and Jane Nixon, along with their 3 children, Isabelle, Harry and Grace live on a cattle property located 20 km north-east of Dulacca. They are beef producers who breed Hereford and Angus cattle and are one of the land owners involved in the Dulacca Energy Project.

Toby is an avid bee keeper who has 20 bee hives located on his property. The honey bees forage on Eucalyptus species native to the area, including Red River Gum, Yellow Box and Ironbark trees as well as wildflowers and cottage flowers from their garden.

Tobee’s Honey was established in 2020. The beautiful 100% pure honey is harvested from the hives seasonally and is sold at local markets and stores in Miles and Dulacca.

RES will be showcasing Tobee's Honey at the Clean Energy Conference in Sydney and the Australian Wind Energy Conference in Melbourne, in July. The jars of honey demonstrate the partnership between renewable energy projects, and the landholders hosting those projects.
